The Past As settlers traveled across the unexplored territory
of the New Frontier, settlements formed around water resources such
as the Arkansas River. These outposts of life began to thrive and
take on a form of their own, growing into the communities we know
today.
The Present The communities along the
Arkansas River — Bixby, Broken Arrow, Jenks, Sand Springs
and Tulsa — along
with the US Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District and the Indian
Nations Council of Government (INCOG) have turned to C. H. Guernsey
& Company (GUERNSEY) to cultivate the region with our planning
and engineering expertise by successfully developing the Arkansas
River Master Plan.
The Future The multi-disciplinary team
assembled by GUERNSEY remains intact to further assist your organization
with the services you require while addressing the area's future
development needs. The
team includes GUERNSEY, EDAW, Alaback Design Associates, Adaptive
Ecosystems and HISINC. Additionally, we are partnering with the
Ross Group, a recognized construction firm in the Tulsa area for
potential turnkey design/build projects.
We maintain a strong relationship with the Tulsa District Corps
of Engineers, INCOG and the five communities included in the development
corridor. GUERNSEY adds extensive value to your programs or projects
as a result of our insight, knowledge and relationships.
We are interested and available to discuss with you any services
you may need. Our familiarity and experience with the Arkansas River
Corridor; the federal, state and local agencies involved with the
river; and the communities along the river give us the insight and
expertise to assist you with all of your development needs.
